Paddling Trails

Paddle Point Creek Trail is located on Lake Ray Hubbard with the entrance off Miller Road. The trail is protected by wind on all sides and is home to a dozen Blue Heron that nest within sight of Highway 66. The trail is also home to a large population of Egrets on the northern trail loop. The paddle trail has abundant schools of Black Bass, Sand Bass and Hybrid Bass. Paddlers can experience history as they paddle to the old Highway 66 Bridge, which is partially submerged.

West Fork of the Trinity River in Bridgeport (NW of Fort Worth)

Three to four creeks off of Lake Bridgeport in Runaway Bay (NW of Fort Worth)

Trinity River in downtown Dallas

Paddle Point Creek on Lake Ray Hubbard in Rowlett

Beaver Pond by the dam at Lewisville Lake in Lewisville
