2022-23 Budget & Tax Rate Information

In September 2022, City Council adopted the Fiscal Year 2023 Budget and Property Tax Rate.  


Financial Summary

The following financial summary data is from the government-wide Statement of Activities in the City’s Annual Comprehensive Financial Report. The government-wide Statement of Activities reports the results of the City’s operations on an accrual basis of accounting. Revenues are recognized when earned, and expenses are recognized at the time the liability is incurred.

The per capita figures are based on the City’s 2022 estimated population of 63,671.

The City has adopted financial policies and investment policies designed to maintain or improve the financial health and well being of the City as well as safeguard the City’s funds in accordance with accounting principles and legislative rules. The City also complies with the requirements specified in House Bill 3693 regarding disclosure of energy usage during the calendar year.
