Saturday, June 3 @ 11:00 a.m. Opening Ceremony Kick-Off Run through a bounce house obstacle course, experience special surveyor drones, pick-up reading log packets if you pre-registered, or register on-site.
Tuesday, June 27 @ 11:00 a.m. Blackland Prairie Raptors Learn about the birds of prey in North Texas.
Monday, July 10 @ 1:00 p.m. KidsNotes by Garland Symphony Orchestra A one-hour, hands-on interactive presentation to young children giving them the opportunity to hear, see, touch, and explore different aspects of classical music and the orchestra.
Tuesday, July 18 @ 1:00 p.m. Journey Through Space Go on an adventure through our Solar System.
Saturday, July 29 @ 10:00 a.m. Closing Ceremony Jamboree Coming soon!

Art Camp - Mondays at 1:00 p.m. (see dates below)

June 5 Tie-Dye Meet us outside for our first Art Camp activity! Bring an item to dye or use one of our cloths. Tickets will not be required for this program.
June 12 Camp Shirts Make your official Summer Reading camp shirt. Bring a shirt of your own, we'll supply the design!
June 19 Bird Houses Create a humble abode for our avian friends.
June 26 Scouting Lanyards To knot or not to knot? Create your own paracord keychain.
July 3 Cookie Decorating Can you make the cutest cookie in the batch?
July 17 Galaxies Design a vessel to contain your own cosmic galaxy.

Due to limited space, tickets are required for Art Camp and can be collected at the reference desk. We will have up to four sessions. Supplies are limited.

June 9 Onward [PG] When Ian Lightfoot comes of age, his mother gives him the magical staff of his late father, which will let him cast a spell to spend one more day with his dad. But the spell goes awry and he has only 24 hours to set it right, so he and his older brother embark on an epic quest, with their mother trailing after, trying to protect them from a dangerous curse.
June 16 Holes [PG] Young Stanley Yelnats finds himself at Camp Green Lake, where digging a hole a day keeps the warden at bay and "builds character". An ancient family curse still dogs Stanley and he's thrown headlong into the adventure of his life. Stanley and his campmates will have to forge fast friendships to unearth the mystery of what's really going on in the desert.
June 23 The Secret Life of Pets [PG] A hilarious comedy about the lives our pets lead after we leave for work or school each day. Max, a terrier, has his favorite-pet status turned upside-down when his owner takes in a stray named Duke.
June 30 Up [G] A feisty 78 year-old balloon salesman, ties thousands of balloons to his house and goes on a once-in-a-lifetime journey to South America with an eight-year-old wilderness ranger.
July 7 Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs [PG] Flint Lockwood is a young inventor who dreams of creating something that will improve everyone's life. Sam Sparks is a weathergirl covering the town's weather phenomenon, but chooses to hide her intelligence behind a perky exterior. Tim Lockwood is Flint's technophobic father. Brent is the town bully who has plagued Flint since childhood. Mayor Shelbourne exploits Flint's newest invention so he can put the town, and more importantly himself, on the map. By-the-rules town cop Earl Devereaux has a rule-breaking son, Cal. In a town where food drops from the sky like rain, Flint hopes to create something that will change everyone's life. However, when the weather takes a turn for the worse, the residents of the town of Chewandswallow will find their eating habits have drastically changed.
July 14 Trolls: World Tour [G] Poppy and Branch discover that they are but one of six different Trolls tribes scattered over six different lands and devoted to six different kinds of music: Funk, Country, Techno, Classical, Pop and Rock. A member of hard-rock royalty, Queen Barb, aided by her father King Thrash, wants to destroy all other kinds of music to let rock reign supreme. With the fate of the world at stake, Poppy and Branch set out to visit all the other lands to unify the Trolls in harmony against Queen Barb.
July 21 WALL-E [G] After hundreds of lonely years, a waste management robot finds a new purpose in life. With only a cockroach for a friend, he finds true love in another robot sent on a mission to Earth to see if it is safe for human life.

June 10 Perot Tech Truck Enjoy a morning of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) related activities provided by the Perot Tech Truck for hands-on learning.
June 24 All About Animals Live! Survival in the wild is tough and danger lurks at every turn. Wouldn't it be nice if someone always had your back and was looking out for you? There are many animals that work together to protect and warn each other of danger.
July 1 Scout Olympics Compete in different Olympic events with a partner or in a team.
July 8 Dessert Island You've been stranded on a desert island. Can make a culinary masterpiece from the delicacies that have washed ashore?
