The collaboration between the Rowlett Police and Fire department, along with local agencies and clinics, aims to provide a range of supportive services such as peer support, counseling, and crisis assistance. We encourage you to explore both our internal and external resources to discover options that best meet your individual needs.
In the event that you are unable to reach a peer support member, you have the following alternative options available:
- COPLine: 800-267-5463 - a non-profit 501c3 organization specifically focused on supporting active and retired law enforcement officers and their loved ones. They offer round-the-clock confidential services, staffed by retired law enforcement officers who are ready to assist you at all hours of the day.
- Heroes Helpline: 833-367-4689 - Provides a free, entirely confidential, telephone support and referral service that affords first responders and healthcare workers the opportunity to seek treatment without fear of judgement, stigma, or occupational threats.
- Veterans Crisis Line: 988 press 1 - A free crisis hotline to military veterans. This is an extension of the national suicide hotline, but redirects you to a trained veterans crisis line responder.
- Fire / EMS Helpline (PDF): 888-731-3473 A free hotline for EMS and firefighters. This is free and confidential.
