Board Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities of the Senior Advisory Board include providing participation by local senior citizens in municipal government and to routinely report to the City Council the conditions and needs of seniors within the community. The Board shall propose and make recommendations concerning matters of importance to the senior citizen population of the City.
Time Commitment
The Senior Advisory Board has 12 meetings per year. In addition to the monthly meetings, members also serve as volunteers at various events throughout the City as representatives of our seniors.

We’re looking for committed residents willing to volunteer a few hours of their time each month to serve on a board or commission. Applications are available in the City Secretary’s Office in the City Hall Municipal Center at 4000 Main Street. Completed applications can be dropped off at the City Secretary’s Office, faxed to 972-412-6118
or emailed to the City Secretary’s Office.
