2023 Arts and Humanities Commission Young Artists Exhibit
The Rowlett Arts and Humanities Commission invites young artists, Kindergarten through 12th grade (public, private and home-schooled students), to participate in this annual art exhibit. The Commission’s goal is to recognize talented young local artists and their art teachers.
The Young Artists Exhibit gives children in Kindergarten through 12th grade the positive reinforcement and encouragement they need. For many kids, this kind of event is an important opportunity to display their artwork. It helps to validate them as developing artists, and helps parents and community members to be more aware of visual arts programs in our schools. Our goal is to encourage area students to become more active in their communities through the visual arts.
Artwork will be accepted at Rowlett Public Library, located at 3900 Main Street, during one of the take-in times:
Take in times are Friday, March 24 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm and Saturday, March 25 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Questions? Please contact Youth Artists Exhibit committee member, Deborah Crosby.
