TxDOT will begin work on the SH66 & Dalrock Rd. intersection improvements the week of November 27.
The improvements will include the construction of right turn lanes, dual left turn lanes, and additional through lanes. This construction project will involve lane closures—some will be short term for which drivers will be forewarned by warning signs and message boards, and some will be long term that will be announced by TxDOT on drivetexas.org and shared through City and TxDOT public outreach channels. Construction is anticipated to complete in early summer 2024, weather permitting. We realize that the conditions caused by road construction can be painful while it's underway, but these improvements will really help traffic flow once completed!
