Trash/Recycle/Bulk Pickup Delays
FCC is experiencing delays due to our extended excessive heat conditions. This has impacted staffing levels, along with their equipment. Daily pickup delays may continue. Trash collection is the priority - recycle collection will occur when possible. Please continue to leave trash/recycle/bulk out until serviced. If you see these guys out working, maybe give them a friendly thank you wave, it’s hot out there!
We appreciate your patience and understanding and apologize for any inconvenience.

Wastewater Collection System Smoke Testing UnderwayRJN Group, an engineering consultant hired by the City of Rowlett, is performing a physical survey of the wastewater collection system in key areas around Rowlett. The study involves opening manholes in the streets and backyard utility easements, and also requires the use of harmless, odorless, non-toxic smoke in order to gain information that will later be used to repair and improve the system. At least 24 hours before smoke testing is scheduled to start, RJN will place door hangers on the front door of every home/building where testing will be conducted. Signs will be prominently displayed on the street when smoke testing is in progress. At no time will field crews have to enter your business or residence. More info…
