During the month of November, patrons may donate non-perishable food items to waive fines off their accounts. For each package of food donated, the Library will take $1 off patron fines. This only applies to fines for late materials; it does not apply to fees from lost or damaged materials. Collected items will be donated to local food pantries.
All ages can participate in the Winter Reading Program from November 21 to December 31. Participants will earn prizes for reading and get the opportunity to enter raffle tickets for a grand prize Family Basket. Reading logs can be collected at the reference desk.
For children of all ages who can actively engage. This interactive storytime with books, music, and movement is a high engagement storytime that instills the love of literacy and the Library at an early age. Caregivers also learn valuable information on how to continue building literacy at home. While all ages are welcome, we will focus on pre-literacy skills. Thursday is a repeat of Wednesday’s program.
